I’m an author and illustrator of over fifty books and graphic novels, including The Akiko series and The Drawing Lesson. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of receiving fourteen Eisner Award nominations for my work, which has been featured in places like USA Today, Entertainment Weekly, The Wall Street Journal, and even on CNN Headline News.

In addition to my books, I share my passion for art through YouTube, where I create tutorials, behind-the-scenes looks at my process, and creative inspiration for artists of all ages. With over 400 million views, it’s been a true joy to connect with a global community of aspiring creators.
